The story has a really good premise, but I think perhaps because it is written by a Ukrainian author, it is a little difficult to follow at times, and the dialog seems off, although I suspect to anyone with a Baltic background they wouldn't notice.
Probably won't continue with the series, to be honest I'm not even sure I'll finish this book. It's not badly written or anything, it just doesn't flow right as I read it.

It's a standard litrpg, tries to do some stuff integrating reality into the book, which I can appreciate, but the game itself is just pay to win to the point of insanity. Why write a book about a game where the game just reflects reality in every aspect but there are a few dwarves running around? The main character doesn't really do anything special other than stumble upon an overpowered race which lets him do months of progress in a day. If you just want another average litrpg to sink your show more teeth in I guess it will do, otherwise don't bother. show less
Where's book 2!
I want book 2 now! I love reincarnation stories, and after reading some rather boring ones lately I pick this up "just because" only to love it so much I read it without stop. I love the writing. I adore the characters and I'm so sad I have to wait for book 2

Being forced to play to gain money for daughters hearth operation, choosing a unkown race and advancing very fast through the system...
I liked the first part of the book where the MC works in the mines and levels up. At the middle of the book is a break and suddenly the mc has a whole new strategy to play the game. And to be honest the second part was not for my taste. The "strategy" seems not very "strategic" to me and is more based on pure luck and not knowing what else to do. Would have show more loved to seen more of the first part. show less
