I loved this book! In J.K. Harper's story, Protector Wolf, she explores a new situation for Shifters we don't see very often. I enjoyed being able to explore a bunch of different Shifters at once. In this box set, you will see everything from Dragons and Leopards to Wolves and Bears, and quite a few unlikely candidates in between. So, come take a trip with these wonderful authors and get your Shifter fix. I know I did! I just can't stop wanting more. These stories, even though they are kind show more of short, are fully explored and make for great afternoon reads. show less
Shifters in the Shadows: Seventeen Paranormal Romances of Sexy Shifters, Dangerous Vamps, & Things That Go Bump in the Night by J.K. Harper
Being a blogger, as well as an author and reviewer of romance books, with Halloween approaching in just over three weeks how could I not resist downloading this collection of 17 romances of things which go bump in the night. All of your favorite type of characters, characters who fall into the Halloween spirit can be found within the pages of this book.
From controlling dragons to domineering spirits to shifter who are as sexy as they come and to vampires ready to seduce you so they can take show more over your souls, all of whom are just waiting in the dark for their next unsuspecting victim to come along, these romantic stories here are ready to possess your mind and seduce you as you read each one.
While I’ve already read, which you might have also done, some of the writings of the authors contained here, this collection gives everyone who’s reading it a marvelous opportunity to discover new authors for the first time., authors you might wind up wanting to read more of.
This collection is listed as being available for a limited period of time, which as I’ve found out might only be a period of three months. With a price of 99 cents and 17 stories [approximately 6 cents per story] what more kind of enticement do you need to download a copy for yourself like I did. With the variety of the 17 wonderfully written stories this book contains and a price which won’t hurt anyone’s budget I’ve given this collection 5 STARS. show less

I enjoyed the short stories. Romance & adventure abound. The authors did a great job providing us with glimpses into their worlds. Great book to cuddle up with on a rainy or snowy day.
Shifters in the Snow (15 Paranormal Romances of Winter Wolves, Merry Bears, & Holiday Spirits) by Jacqueline Sweet
I was given this book in return for an honest review, and although my time is limited to review, I chose the first of fifteen stories and promise I'd review the rest at a later date as I can't get enough of Barefield shifters! Mina Morrissey and her husband traveled to Barefield California to compete in the annual cooking contest that Matt and his brother held every year. The weather was down right cold and a snow storm was raging, and with Mina from the Midwest she was puzzled about the show more snow! Wasn't California supposed to be hot? The family members and residents started to go missing without putting up a fight. What in the world could rake on a bear and werewolves and leave no foot prints?????? show less
