This book first came to my attention when one of my favorite authors posted about it. The blurb sounded interesting, so when I saw it was only .99 cents on Amazon, I took the small risk and bought it.
It was funny, and overall I didn't mind it. There are two reasons why I only gave it two stars. First thing that bothered me was the language, and I don't consider myself a particular saint in the language department. However there are only so many times I can read the words f**k and p***y. It show more got old, fast. Also, never ever should the word nor any variations of the word 'squirting' be used in a romance novel. #moodkiller.
Also, I felt the whole problem between the main characters could have been fixed if they had just communicated with each other. It was just one giant miscommunication after another, on both of their parts. If they had both just sat down, talked, and been honest with each other, then the issue could have been resolved so much faster. But then I guess there wouldn't be half the book. So...
Those things combined caused me to rate the book lower. I think it was a fine book, and if you don't mind a lot of cussing, and you like when characters have miscommunications, then you'll probably like this book. show less

I can not say enough about this book, it is utterly hilarious!!. I absolutely loved it. Callie and Walker were awesome together. At the beginning Callie was not nice to Walker, due to misunderstanding to him and also due to horrible tragedies that she had faced it was heartbreaking. But thru this the way she handled was so funny all I did was literally laugh. Now Walker was a southern gentleman and though he tried to kill her with kindness he was not a doormat, my god I have not laughed so show more much in my life. But then they fell in love and it was beautiful... I tell you need to read this if you do not, you will miss out, on the best thing out there. I can not wait til the next book. show less
Received an ARC for my fair review for inkslingerpr. I love Nicole Archer's (Ad agency series) this was Eli's story, we met him in the first book, and he made an appearance in the second book. I implore you my friends to read them in order, so that you won't cheat yourself from literary perfection. In this one we get more in depth feelings of the groups, we find out more about Eli and lost loves, his mistakes with Sabrina (thank god he woke up), we even see a better man in Skip, whom I show more adore.we meet Charlie, who loved Eli while growing uo, and now after ten years they have a love/hate relationship. I won't tell you more, but when you read it, you can predict who is next...I do hope however that in Skip's story, we get to read more about Callie, i missnher... enjoy! show less
I love this author, I read a lot of books, and at times I just want to laugh, which in turn makes your day. In this story we have Effie, who is Callie's twin sister (from first book) and she has asperg or something similar, she is also a recovering drug addict, but has been clean for 2 years, so she is down in the dumps and does not to want to reach to Skip and Callie, who always bail her out of situations. Then we have Elias, famous band singer who is tired of it all, the press, paparazzi, show more he just want peace.
They meet at an awards shoe, and people that chapter was hilarious, I am also happy that she got justice for Callie. There are twist and turns, but Callie is a sweet soul, and Elias was awesome. The secondary characters added to book were instrumental . I loved that it combined characters from last book. I will always love Walker and Callie, first but Effie found her soul mate. Read book, I guarantee you will enjoy! Can't wait to see who comes next!!! show less
