Holy hell. What a rollercoaster book this was. So much suspense. It was intense, I felt for the characters because like them I didn't know what twist or turn was going to come next. So much violence. Yet, through it all, I found that I was drawn toward Gavin. Was he a bad man? In a manner of speaking yet. But his love for Lyla seemed genuine. I cannot wait to see what happens next.
I own this as part of the boxset.

While I enjoyed this book, it didn't have me on the edge of my seat as the first book did. It was missing some of the suspense and twists and turns. I liked it more when Gavin was off the rails in terms of his possessiveness and obsessiveness to keep Lyla safe.
That being said, this was still a great book. I look forward to the conclusion.

This book packed a punch when it started again. I think my favorite part of this series was Gavin. I know that I shouldn't love him the way that I did but I was like a moth to the flame. He is over-the-top in his love for Lylah but good lord does it turn me on.
There were a few parts of the story that I really wish had been fleshed out more and this would have ranked higher. However, I can overlook that because it was a worthy conclusion to this trilogy.

Holy moly...I got an ARC for this book and I couldn't put it down. I loved Carmen's story. Im still on edge!! This book had everything you could ask for violence, twists, turns, major alphaness and was hot hot hot. And the ending.....I wanted to cry. Marcus and Angel are so hot. I loved that we got our dose of Gavin and Lyla. Plus new characters that were also amazing. I'm going to add more once the book was released but bravo Mia this book was great.
