I love to solve mysteries, but Ms. Walker had me fooled as I tried to help Max with her detective nose. Murder in White Lace had me ranting at Jennifer and how she treated people. Jennifer was too full of herself and to not invite her mom to her wedding was plain cruel. I loved that Max stood by her friend when Andy was arrested for Jennifer's death and she pulled out all stops to clear her friend as she had once had feelings for him but Andy only thought of her as a little sister, how show more embarrassing! I enjoyed this Christmas short story. I love how it revolves around baking, friends and family. There is a mystery in it that added a little edge. There are loads of recipes that look really good. The Cracker Toffee was easy and tasty. It also was made with ingredients I already had on hand. If you are looking for something to read in about an hour or so, pick up this delightful book. Then keep it handy to bake some goodies.

Great start for a new series. I will say I was surprised by who the killer is.
