I'm a huge fan of Elizabeth Knox and have read all her books she has released. I usually only like when she co-writes with E.C. Land but when she chose A.M. Myers for the Deathstalkers MC she picked a winner. If you have read the Bayou Devils MC by A.M. Myers you'll see they both have their own writing styles and when combined it makes for an awesome book. Falcon is the 2nd book from the Deathstalkers MC and I have been waiting for what seems like forever for it to come out with all the show more delays it had. But it turned out great. It's one of the longest books that Elizabeth Knox has written in a while and it didn't seem rushed like alot of her books have recently.
Falcon is the President of the Deathstalkers. He rules with an iron fist but isn't as hardcore as some President's are unless someone messes with his brothers or anyone he cares about. For years he's been friends with Hermoine who owns the local coffee shop The Java Zone. He's been in love with her for years but didn't want to ruin their friendship by acting on it. Hermoine has also had a crush on Falcon for years and tries to flirt with him every now and then but never acts on her crush because she didn't think he would feel the same way. To everyone in the community she is a blessing. She tries to help everyone out when she can and is just a nice, caring person to everyone.
She's never had a problem at her shop until one day a biker she's never met comes in and is rude to one of her customers so she throws him out and he doesn't like that. The trouble starts with a broken window and escalates from there. Falcon finds out and vows to protect her but some things you can't protect people from. Hermoine's life changes so drastically learning most of her life has been a lie that Falcon is the only person she can trust and feels safe with especially after he saves her. She tries to go back to living her normal life but trouble just keeps coming and Falcon and his brothers are the ones there for her. This book does have triggers in it so be warned. Hermoine goes through hell but she's a survivor and stronger than she thinks she is especially with Falcon by her side.
Overall this was a great partnership between Elizabeth Knox and A.M. Myers. I hope they continue to write the rest of the series together. Horseman's book is up next and I can't wait to read that one.

I am 99.99% sure the author is a fan of Grey's Anatomy. There is a particular plot line that's very similar to the show's. Also I kept wondering why Ad had to date so many guys in this book. It's not just her ex-boyfriend we had to deal, but also her numerous dates. She kept trying to find what her parents had, but the whole time she kept pushing the only person who could make that dream come true away. Honestly, I fell in love with the story of Ad's parents and I would love to read a book show more about them. Ad's story didn't do it for me. I wanted something more or maybe a heroine who was more focused on creating something good with the hero rather than dating so much. The epilogue(s) in the end were touching and the perfect way to end the book. show less
This was a well written story, which I thoroughly enjoyed reading. The storyline was compelling, the characters well written and believable and I loved the relationship between the two main characters was realistic and compelling. My only complaint was a lack of contractions used in the dialogue, which seemed odd in dialogue involving a tattoo artist, bar workers and members of a bikie gang. Having said that, I would still thoroughly recommend the story, and would happily read more of A.M. show more Myers work in the future. show less
Emma Harrington is a sweet and sassy woman with bouts of confidence. That is until she meets and falls in love with the wrong man. After moving in with her boyfriend, the abuse slowly starts to surface . The abuse gets worse over time and makes her start believing that she is to blame. Until she had enough.....

Emma meets Nix 12 months after her breakup in a tattoo shop. Where she was getting her first tattoo as a reminder what she went through.

This is my first read by this author.
This show more book has a past and present story line. I had a love and hate relationship with this. In a way it got you waiting and wanting more. In the other hand I think it was skipping to the past, as soon as you got the feel for the present.
The story line however was very well written, it shows you how little things over time can manifest into abuse rather quickly. The author also shows how hard it is to get life back on track perfectly. I can personally relate to certain aspects of this book and I am sure a lot of others will too.
