A pulp romance author gets kidnapped by an evil billionaire and her dimwitted cover photo star sets out to save her in a crazed jungle adventure. And somehow, it's actually rather entertaining.
A romance writer with a clue to a treasure is chased through the jungle.
3/4 (Good).
The story is inane and predictable and substantially plagiarized (not just from Romancing the Stone). But it's also very funny, so I'm happy.

It's probably the only Mark Twain adaptation that maintains his sense of humor. It would have made a better TV series than a movie, though.
