Salvation's Dawn (Eve of Redemption #1) by Joe Jackson is an epic tale which I was not expecting! I thought this would be just a regular story but this is so much more. This whole world the author has created is so meticulously detailed in the creatures, culture, societies, the magic, the geography, and the well developed characters that it is like looking at an epic screen in my mind! So much went into making this world and he delivers this in such a way that makes it come alive rather than show more describing it bit by bit. A true feat for writers. I loved this book. The demon hunter is the main character and female, strong male characters that are half-demons, so many unique creatures, magic, the twists and details are simply tremendous! The Huntresses' Game (Eve of Redemption, #5) by Joe Jackson can be read as a stand alone, the author catches the reader up so you are not lost. The series is such a good epic fantasy that you will want to read it from the beginning! Karian, our female kick ass warrior, mother, wife, and priestess has got a lot to do in this book. She has been a demon hunter but now she is being played a pawn to a demon over 12,000 yrs old. She has no choice but to try to outwit the King Demon. She also has show more to be tested for her deity's Avatar. She must do all this without her family or friends to keep them safe. The suspense is up and the exciting books continue coming. I love this world Jackson has made with all kinds of creatures, powers, the descriptions, the dialogue, the combats, the tenderness, the twists/surprises, and the freshness of it all. Legacy of the Devil Queen (Eve of Redemption, #4) by Joe Jackson is the fourth book but it has not slowed down in action, epic wow-ness, or ways to please the reader. These books are epic in world building, character building, and action. The inter-play between characters are unique and believable. (Even if the characters are 1/2 demon or dragon) Love his imagination and world he has created. Can't wait if he has book 5!

Serpents Rising (Eve of Redemption #3) by Joe Jackson continues this amazing epic story of Kari and friends. This book, as with the previous ones, is full of a vivid world and characters that the reader feels like they are there. So much action, intrigue, fantasy, interesting creatures, and wonderful plot makes this a spectacular read. Not many authors can world build like this one! Wonderful.
