I don't know what to say, but I am enjoying this series. The writing is great. Stories don't feel too far off and I love how all the characters seem to be fully developed. Can't wait to read / listen to the next book.

I really, really wanted to like this book. First and foremost I need to say this was an audiobook and unfortunately, I did not enjoy the lead female's cadence so I think that affected my rating of the book. Additionally, I could not read the first book, which may have affected the review. The end was nice, but getting there was not my cup of tea. I think the author (first time reading anything by her) did a great job writing the story so I cannot complain on that show more front.

My biggest issue is the FMC Couture Yates. She had such an issue with her BF at the time Khari Compton cheating on her so she put her foot down and he started to become the man she needed not cheating etc. So now that she is back and is engaged to someone she has grown to care for, I am expected to believe she will just start cheating on him left right and center. Although we find out she and Khari are already married, it does not negate the fact that she is still technically engaged. For me it just left a sour taste in my mouth.
As to how Khari deals with their situation with the Lewis' it at least made sense even if again I was not enthralled by the steps taken. I think this is a solid book, the issues were mainly mine in regards to the cheating. I just started listening to Love Letters from a Gansta. show less

OK, what can I say other than Ocean is crazy? This was a crazy book that I somehow liked (not sure what that says about me).
Ocean wants Myomi and he won't stop til he gets her. Myomi is in a relationship with Xion who she thinks is cheating. What ensues is a story of stalking, murder, betrayal, and downright craziness. You have to read this one to believe it.

I am really enjoying Shvonne's books and this series is no different. The cliffhangers are so serious right now and book 2 is no different.
