From the moment Dodging Cupid jumped off I was sympathetic to Jenna. The sweet gal with the Valentine’s Day blues due. It’s been a while since she had a lasting relationship, and the coupled up friends and family giving her sympathetic glances have worn her patience thin. In order to boycott the sickening sweet scene all together Jenna opts to spend her time in the laundry mat. There’s nothing romantic about a spin cycle right? show more

Wrong, in walks Del, the sexy biker with an unexpected quirky sense of humor and impeccable manners. Del is a tall drink of water (as my Gran would say) with stubble, a Harley and a black leather jacket. Yes, just the yummy eye candy you need when doing your sexy lingerie. (Can you sense the sarcasm?) The attraction between them combined with their easy banter leads Del to participate in her ban of the holiday. The trouble is cupid seems to have it in for them.

This short had me laughing out loud, covering my mouth in disbelief, and smiling. This is a sweet treat filled with wit, and humor. Though Del and Jenna didn’t get down and dirty in the sheets, there was plenty of sizzle and sexual tension.

Alex is a sweet wonderful caring person that is trying to be a cop, always dating the scum of the earth dirt bags, who looks forward to her dog Animal each night.

Miguel is an American of Spanish descent. He is a business man with his hands in several aspects of commerce. Most people including the FBI think he is a smuggler of drugs and humans.

The FBI and chief of police ask Alex to go undercover to help gather incriminating evidence again Miguel. What Alex and the FBI do not realize is that show more Miguel finds out that Alex working undercover. However Miguel is still interested in a relationship with Alex.

To me this book had a slow start. It was interesting but just slow. After about the 15% mark this book gets real interesting. With all of the police and Alex trying to keep all the lies straight she has trouble remember who she told what. Trying to keep from having a real relationship and not jumping in bed with Miguel Alex learns that not everything is about sex with a guy.

This was a very interesting read. I enjoyed the challenges the characters faced in the plot.

Thanks for a great read Kelly.

The only thing I liked about the book was the price. It was free. I've never written a negative review until now. Don't waste your time on this!
