Reviews
Rather slow-moving, with little chemistry between the principles and a turgid script. Nice idea and the dogs are good, but it didn't work for us. Some important UK issues touched upon realistically, and some very attractive scenery, but although we kept watching, and it does develop a bit during the second half of the film, it wasn't amusing, or moving, or even particularly complex despite the review snippets on the front of the DVD.
Not suitable for children or younger teens, but unlikely show more to appeal to anyone under the age of about 40.
