A teenager gets a magic bracelet.
C+ (Okay).
This is a rare instance of my having read the source material for a comic book adaptation, and it really does not hold up. The cast is great. But Kamala's revised powers just don't have the whimsy that the books did. And the story, despite being simplistic and having six hours to tell it, somehow didn't leave room for her to be her goofy self and have fun.

2022 movie #178. 2020. Was it worth it to wait 17 years for the sequel to Bad Boy 2? For the producers I guess, it was the highest grossing movie in 2020. Long scenes of tedious dialog punctuated by bouts of tedious mayhem. Your mileage may differ but I didn't much care for it.
