George Cox (4) (1871–1946)

A collection of articles by Reverend George Cox which appeared in the Gippsland Standard from 1911-1930. The articles in this book deal with the development of Gippsland in the 1840s, exclusive of the Alberton area. It covers squatters, the land legislation, and some contemporary surveys of the Gippsland District. Two articles cover the story of the 'White Woman among the Blacks'. Includes index, photographs, maps.
