Volume 3 of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime is again another wonderful entry into a great series. The third volume leans more into more action and fight scenes with several comedic moment throughout. The series is still in its set-up stages with build up to the first major threat in the next volume and more societal world building by the main characters. This volume also features the introduction of several new characters that are unique and will play larger roles later in the show more series. This series is highly recommended. show less

That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime is a fun and enjoyable. The first volume is a good introduction to the series which sets the tone with humor and light action. There are a few of the cliches that are common with the fantasy and isekai (individual teleported to another world) genera, but they are presented in a way that feel fresh and again fun. This volume is highly recommend to get readers into a great series.

Volume 2 of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime continues setting up the major focus points of the series, with the first signs of larger world building. The chapters in Volume 2 are more dramatic and serious then the first volume but that does not take away from the light heartedness feeling already established. The art remains of high quality with good characters designs. Again this series is highly recommended.
