Very interesting slice-of-life style story from aboard a steampunk fantasy 'whaling' vessel. There isn't much of a plot, at least not in this first book - each chapter is another day in the life on the airship, catching dragons (who turn our to look more like giant flying squids than traditional European dragons), harvesting parts, selling parts, etc. I would have liked more going on (and I suspect, with 6 volumes out so far, the later books do have more going on) but it's a fun story with show more interesting worldbuilding, and I'm curious what happens in the next books! show less
The art has always been great on this series, nice that the story is finally starting to catch up. Best volume so far.
I really enjoy the world that’s being created in this story! As a whole it reminds me a lot of “Delicious in Dungeon”, just set in the skies.
