This is a very poorly executed, unauthorized reprint of Jac Remise's 1978 book of Diableries (the first book on the subject). It's bad enough to fake authorship of a book but to add insult to injury, the photo reproductions and layout of this book are terrible, to call the design of this book amateurish is being kind. The images were obviously created by scanning the original book, with obnoxious gaps in the image where the image in the original book was spread across pages, apparently they show more couldn't take the time to unbind the book the stole their images from before scanning it. If you want a really well done book of Diableries, the recent book from Brian May is fantastic and has well surpassed even Remise's classic work, but this book was a disappointing bust. show less

This book is a plagarism of another book I own written 30 years prior, Eros and Evil. I did decide to keep this book because it has some great pictures and reference section. It's funny how Eros and Evil is not mentioned in the Bibliography or Reference section though.
