Someone Special by Eva Moore
Series: Girl’s Night Out 1
I have had this book in my tbr pile for a while, because well, the wounded hero plot is not one of my favourites.
I am glad I finally picked it up. The writing is good. I liked the banter and chemistry between Nick and Dani. And while I was not a huge fan of Nick’s destructive behaviour, I understand why it was in there. I loved the messaging that went on in the book (always a favourite for me) and in the end, I really quite.enjoyed show more this story. The door scene.. loved it! *sigh*. I will gladly read this author again and plan to pick up the next book in the series.

I really liked this book, it was a quick read and it was quirky. I don't like how hostile the fmc seemed to get so quickly towards the mmc. But I think that was most of us when we were cooped up during the pandemic so it was a pretty accurate description. I think this was a good way to show how some new relationships were navigated during COVID times and I would recommend others give it a read too. It only took me like 4 hours to read the whole book.
WOW, Eva has seriously got me hooked. I can't wait to read book 2 In the GNO series. I don't have as much time to read as I would like to have but this one kept me pushing to find a few spare moments. Dani and Nick both deserve a happy ever after ending and I hope they get it.
This is a phenomenal novella, Eva has done it again with another fantastic book I loved Winston and Trina's story and I can't wait to read the rest of this series.
