This wasn't really my thing. I'm mainly interested in Bauer because she's the founder of the Maritime Writer's Workshop and because -- here at least -- she's a New Englander writing about Fredericton. So while I didn't like this story and found the dialogue clunky, I will likely keep an eye out for an earlier work.
