During the first half of his book, I contemplated not finishing it. Bartleby was frenetic and hard to connect with, but I am glad that I chose to continue reading. The second half kept me engaged, imparted important messages, and solved the mystery.
Sophie Amoss did a good job narrating this story.

Meadowbrook Murders
I Picked Up This Book Because: The name.
Media Type: Audiobook
Source: GP Public Library
Dates Read: 11/16/25 - 11/20/25
Rating: 3 Stars
Narrator(s): Sophie Amoss and Jesse Villinsky
The Characters:
Amy:
Liz:
Sarah, Ryan, Peter, Joseph, Soccer Coach, Head Teacher
The Story:
Another meh read for me. It was well written and an interesting mystery. I think I’m just craving a comfort series. I had two suspects from the beginning and I’m glad I was right.
The Random Thoughts:
I show more couldn’t tell the difference between narrators so sometimes I got confused as to whose POV it was.
Weirdly none of these characters have a physical description in my brain. Like I can’t picture them at all. show less
