This book is a very informational text appropriate for first through second grade. The content the book provides good insight for students to learn about the types of animals that live in the desert. It also discusses the climate of the ecosystem itself. This book is a good surface level resource about the desert. It does not go in depth about many aspects of the desert it just talks about the types of adaptations animals have to live in the desert.
