A fun little children's graphic novel about veterinarian assistants/witch's apprentices Clarion and Nan dealing with a magical contagion in the supernatural beasts under their care while the vet is away on a house call.

I must admit my opinion is probably skewed due to a fondness for tsundere characters like Nan. But I also liked the diversity in the cast, and the odd bigfoot art style grew on my as the story progressed.
I've been a fan of Stutterhug online for some time and was delighted and eager to get it in book form when it came to Kickstarter. The comics within are soft, beautifully flowing, wordless, and open-panelled. Each has a title page and then several pages of comic at least, often with a colour theme.

This volume collects many of the Stutterhug humanoid animal comics (and some new ones), and some animal-shaped animals, going through a variety of moods but all sweet and full of feeling.
I leapt on preordering this one as soon as I saw it for preorder, though I found the third book in the series a little less engaging/delightful than the first two. But still quite enjoyable!

And so was this one - in fact it was wonderful finding more beyond the mystery that has been threaded through from the very first! Front and centre finally in this one (after being an underlying thread woven through other problems and solutions in the prior book) and an answer that beautifully suits the show more world and tone of Willows Whisper. I had wondered!

(And now I find myself wondering . . . will the series go on, or is this the end of it?)

Eeeeeeeeeee! This is adorable. And has good themes about not listening to gossip and taking responsibility and kindness. Is it super dense and teachy-preachy? No. It's fluffy monsters all the way. Love it.
