- Short biography
- A graduate of the National School of the Judiciary, Michel Legrand was notably investigating judge at the Court of State Security (1979-1981), first investigating judge at the Tribunal de Grande Instance in Paris and assigned to the Section antiterrorist of the prosecutor's office (1986-1989), then general attorney at the assize court of Grenoble (1989-2000) before finishing his career at the court of appeal of Montpellier. He founded the SOS Youth Association to teach criminal law and judicial organization in high schools and colleges.
