Unless you find IDIOTS entertaining, PASS

The plot seems promising, but the actual story is just a mess. I liked the British Isles language the author writes in, but the characters act so ditzy, no, downright STUPID, that I gave up halfway through. Thus I don't think the following count as spoilers:
Needing to check things online, she buys a computer, hooks it into phone data, then gives it over for cat to play games on instead of doing the research??
She has a magically refilling money jar, show more yet focuses on needing to find a job or other way to make money?
Figures the best way to make money is to let out a room to the cousin who is the most likely suspect to murdering her aunt, leaving a threatening note, & perhaps having stolen part of her inheritance from the house?

Beezley and the Witch - Books 1-3
(Beezley and the Witch #1-3)
by Willow Mason
This is a set of books that has a witch that is not popular with the local witch coven due to her father she has never known. She has broken several rules, ones she never knew because they never told her, and now out of the coven. She applied for an ad for a PI assistant. Come to find out the PI is really a Detective that has been turned into a dog. She can understand him because she is a witch.
The adventures are show more fun, charming, and full of clever fun. The dialogue and situations also witty and you can tell that the relationship is growing. The characters, even the other characters are well developed and I love this world! Truly loved the stories! show less
While like other reviewers have mentioned, the 'strange stuff is happening i'm just going to go with it' is very odd, and hard to buy in many parts the story, the characters were fun and the mystery was clean cut.

There was no multi level mystery to unravel and the players were of like 5 characters so cute little introduction to what looks to be an eventful place to live.

The toss in at the end of a romance element to be explored in the next book was odd and random. Loved the familiar and show more the magical elements surrounding that aspect of the store. Unique and adorable. show less
