Reviews
A beautiful slim hardback book of poems of the first world war. Selected with an introduction by Jill Balcon. It contains poems by sixteen poets, each of which in its own way a little masterpiece.
However a further benefit is that each poem is written in an attractive calligraphic hand by Rosemary Grossman, with most suitable illustrations by Barrington Barber.
I recommend this book to anyone searching for a book of poems of World War I, this is the one to buy!
