Looks at contemporary child labor issues and the abuse that goes on in other countries, why and where it can be found, types of jobs and profiles of working kids (factory, sex trade, military, fast food, etc.)

This is an excellent high school classroom resource, for any English/History teachers out there. It's written at a nice level, covers the issues well, very clear, well-designed. Makes me hope there are many more Groundwork Guides to come, beyond the few titles currently available. The publishers (Groundwood Books) have a Library Thing page as well as their own website.
