This was the text for undergraduate fluid dynamics at the University of California in the late 1980s. Most of the mathematics in this book is done nowadays by FEA software, so unless you're writing the FEA software itself, it probably doesn't matter much other than for an academic mathematical understanding of the topic. You could probably learn basic fluid dynamics online with less hassle although there are some case-specific examples in this text that might be useful and hard to find show more online, so it's worthwhile having this in your engineering library. show less
