C+ (Okay).

A shabby police detective solves murders. I usually call him "deceptively shabby" in my little synopsis, but for some reason, everyone he meets this season immediately recognizes that they're in a battle of wits with a master, like the writers thought it would be implausible for any murderers to not recognize the brilliance of Columbo Starring Peter Falk.

(Jun. 2023)
A TV series starring Steve Carrell (NBC, Sep. 2006 - May 2007).

A paper company office has an idiot manager.

C+ (Okay).

It's mostly watchable, with a lot of time spent on character development. It continues with cringe humor about 25% of the time. I had hoped they'd grown out of that, but I guess this is just what the show is? Meanwhile, there aren't any big laughs like season two had, and the new Ed Helms character is painfully unfunny.

(Jan. 2023)
Amy Poehler and Nick Offerman host a crafting competition.

3/4 (Good).

The actual competition is completely uninteresting, but Poehler and Offerman just hanging out and making bad puns is half the show.

Although I only thought one episode was really bad, the rest are all mediocre. The unrelenting barrage of mediocrity has a cumulative effect of A Very Bad Show Indeed.
