Wonderfully comprehensive. It contains many old favorites as well as some tunes that are much less prominent. Great for nostalgic and historical purposes, and a must-have for any American musician. Simply delightful.
Very informative; covers in some depth important aspects that need to be covered at every level of piano student.
A great collection of classical music for beginning to intermediate pianists. Even though I can play much harder music, now, I still like to go back and play many of these songs.
Being a choice of old-fashioned songs of the sort which were popular a century ago and which lingered on in elementary school classrooms and assemblies for a couple of generations after that. The large-face music and binding make it very easy to perform from.
