As usual TOR introduces me to great selections of stories by writers I have not heard of. This time Ann Vandermeer edits Jeremy Packert Burke. A story of a woman mourning the death of her brother but as is the premise of the story with no religion how will she do come to terms in the face of the devastating grief in a world where giant inert humanoids are worshiped? A story of the end of civilization and where and how individuals might cope in the face of monumental change. Really great show more fiction. Superb speculative fiction.
