Noodle is a little boy who loves to cuddle and play just like other littler children his age. From playing with his toys, to hiding under his favorite cuddly blanket he’s always up to something fun and familiar. Children everywhere will love interacting with Noodle’s toys as he goes about his day just like they do.
From the time Littlebug was very very little she was instantly a tactile type of person. Even now, at almost three years old, she still loves to touch everything she comes in show more contact with from faces to toys nothing is off limits. Instantly I knew that the Noodle Loves series would be a hit with her for this very reason, but until I held the books in my own hands I had no idea how much I would love them as well.
In Noodle Loves to Cuddle the text is simple and easy for young readers to understand, but illustrations are what really stand out. Each page is bright, but not overly bright making the quality of the book that much easier for children to connect with. The touch and feel aspects of the book are also a higher quality than I’ve ever seen before (and I’ve seen quite a few). Littlebug’s favorite (and mine as well) would have to be when Noodle hides under his blanket, resulting in us searching through his toys to find him. Each aspect of Noodle Loves to Cuddle adds up to an incredible picture book that also happens to be interactive enough for the most tactile learners out there.
Noodle Loves to Cuddle by Nosy Crow and illustrated by Marion Billet stands out in a crowded field of touch and feel books for toddlers. It’s illustrations are gorgeous and bold making them easy for young readers to connect with and the text is simple enough for them to completely understand. Each page turn reveals another tactile experience for readers, from fuzzy to soft and even bumpy making it the perfect beginning book that will be carried and read for years to come. Noodle Loves to Cuddle is by far our favorite “touch and feel” style of book for a number of reasons, but above all we simply love Noodle!

It’s bedtime! For Noodle that means taking a bath, getting a drink, brushing his teeth and getting tucked into bed with his favorite fluffy sheep by his wonderful mommy. Toddlers will love to follow along as Noodle does many of the very same things they do at bedtime.
Again, another huge hit in the Noodle series! Noodle Loves Bedtime is one of those books that has “gone missing” in our home numerous times only to be discovered tucked away with a neat stack of two or three other of show more Littlebug’s favorite reads in her reading spot. This isn’t at all surprising to me because the second it arrived in our home she was instantly in love. Noodle is a character much like Littlebug; he’s at that toddler age where everything is new and exciting but still needs a bit of reassurance from a loving mom. It’s this that will immediately attract other young readers and will most likely become an instant hit in the homes of toddlers everywhere.
Noodle Loves Bedtime is another tactile adventure as well and much like Noodle Loves to Cuddle it doesn’t fail to impress. Coming from a mom with a very destruction little girl I’m often weary of books with small openings or crevasses where little fingers can reach in and rip the pages apart. When I first opened the pages of Noodle Loves Bedtime I was instantly worried because I was so in love with the illustrations and story, but what I didn’t anticipate was how much Littlebug would love it as well. It’s that connection, I believe, that has her cherishing these marvelous books. What’s wonderful about that is that she’s able to enjoy the fun tactile aspects she loves so much without me worrying that she’ll destroy them at any minute. Our favorite by far is the toothpaste page in which the actual toothpaste is sticky, and still is after months of touching! It’s hilarious, fun and especially excited for young readers.
If there is a toddler in your life than you simply must have Noodle Loves Bedtime as well as the other Noodle books by Nosy Crow. In this edition you follow the delightful panda Noodle as he gets ready for that all important time of day, bedtime! This would be a perfect “going to bed” book in addition to being a marvelously interactive book for tactile learners. Our family simply could not be without our Noodle Loves books and Noodle Loves Bedtime is certainly a favorite I recommend to young readers everywhere!

"El pequeño Rinoceronte está orgulloso", escrito e ilustrado por Marion Billet y traducido por Teresa Farran i Vert, es un encantador libro infantil que enseña a los niños sobre la importancia de la autoestima. A través de historias sencillas y bellas ilustraciones, el libro muestra cómo el pequeño rinoceronte se siente orgulloso de sus logros. Ideal para fomentar el amor por la lectura y enseñar valores positivos.
{My thoughts} – I love this introduction to classical music through book for babies and toddlers. My only complaint is that it doesn’t have Beethoven in it. Classical music is rather enjoyable to listen to and I look forward to seeing if my babies will grow up enjoying listening to it as I did when I was a child. My older three have zero interest in it, but I still have hope that the babies will like it. This book has the potential to help them get use to it.
In this book you page through show more it and you push a button that plays a classical song and on that page the composer is listed. There are really nice simple graphics to go along with the songs that play on each page. My daughter really enjoys The Nutcracker Songbook and it is made in a similar fashion as this book.
I recommend this book for any baby or toddler that enjoys listening to music. This book has the potential to help any baby or toddler discover music that appeals to them. I look forward to reviewing more books in this particular series in the future. show less
