I enjoyed revisiting the lives of Brenna Miller and her best friend Tenley Morse. The fall setting sounds gorgeous, between the leaf walking tours and fall decoupage ideas! Morse Point is the site of another murder and this time, Tenley's estranged family is at the top of the suspect list. Brenna does what any best friend would do, and helps investigate. This is the third decoupage mystery. I really enjoy the town Lawrence has created and her secondary characters, especially the twins, Marie show more and Ella, are inspired. I hope to read more by Lawrence and would love to visit Morse Point at least one more time! show less

I enjoyed returning to Morse Point, MA and another fun cozy mystery with Brenna Miller and her friends. This time, a newcomer, Tara Montgomery, is engaged to the local mechanic when his best friend turns up murdered right in Tara's presence. The kicker is that Tara has no memory of what happened or how they got there. Brenna befriends Tara and sets out to find any other suspects before Tara is railroaded into jail. I enjoyed the secondary characters very much, from best friend Tenley, show more landlord Nate, and trying to go legit mobster Dom. Lawrence populates this small town with some great folks. show less

This is the first novel in a cozy series set in a vintage paper store in Morse Point, MA. Brenna Miller has left Boston behind to live in this quaint town and work for an old college friend, Tenley Morse. Before you know it, the mayor winds up dead and Brenna sets about trying to find enough evidence to point the police away from her reclusive landlord, Nate. This mystery had great characters, a good story and some interesting craft tips for decoupage sprinkled throughout the book. I will show more definitely follow Brenna on other adventures. show less
