I’m not the intended audience for this book, so my star rating should be taken with a large grain of salt. The story is great for young fantasy lovers and early chapter book readers. I blasted through the story in an hour on audiobook. It felt quite rushed, but if a young person is reading the hard copy book it would take longer and the story would be much better paced.
The story has some great lessons about friendship, teamwork, and believing in yourself. Of course the dragon element is a show more big win. It’s also the first in a series, so bonus points for reluctant readers that might enjoy this genre. Recommended for young readers of early chapter books with big imaginations and a love of dragons. show less

I like book one because it has good writing in it and I think some exciting things happen in it. (Jael, 7 years old)
Dragon girls is an adventure book about these three girls, Mei, Aisha, and Quinn. They are able to change into dragons and they are tasked with keeping the Magic Forest safe. Good book for ages 9 and up.
