This is a great informational chapter books ! Oregon's history, traditions, information of major cities, and important businesses, etc are all presented well in this book.

An older book, but still has nice real photographs of Oregon including downtown Portland, dragonboats, rose festival, the Gorge games, sandcastle contest etc. A little lengthy in text but good for use of picts.

Easy to read with good facts.

Critiques: This is a great example of Historical Non-fiction because the information is true and historical.

Setting: Pictures from all around Oregon set the background of the history of Oregon.
