I liked Dean and Kat. I liked the changing point-of-view. I got insight into what each thought and wanted. I respected Kat's point of view even if I did not agree with it. A good read.

In SINFULLY YOURS, Mardi Gras in New Orleans finds her looking for a one-night stand. He seems to be looking for more.

KNIGHTLY DESIRES has a injured knight being healed by a mage who does not fit into the convent where she resides.

SANTA'S SLEEPING BEAUTY has a Grinch shopper taking Santa home for the night. Little does she know what Santa's giving her for Christmas.

I enjoyed all these stories. Though each story was short, the show more character development was well done. I liked these characters. I also liked that each story was a different genre. Ms. Fox did well with the different genres. These were not cookie-cutter stories. show less

For a short story this was WELL Written and really enjoyable. My only complaint is that it was too short and the 11 pages were not enough for me. I definitely would have loved to see a full story of Simone and Nic with a whole lot more development, game play, etc.

'One Kiss' is a short romantic tale about the magic of New Year's Eve turning friends into the lovers they should be. Set in New York, best friends and work colleagues Kat and Dean are always there for each other.

Kat a workaholic lives alone except for her emotional baggage. She sees a lonely future ahead its safer that way she won't get her heart broken again. Dean is from a loving family and he sees his future with a loving show more wife and kids. He is perfect hero material, clever, sexy and totally devoted to Kat. Their relationship is strictly platonic but they still fantasise.

Kat and Dean's emotionally developed characters give the story its poignancy and depth. The chemistry between them is electric and their sexy wake-up call well written. Circumstances conspire to make one kiss at New Year inevitable but the desired happy ending seems unlikely when Kat's fears surface.

A quick sexy read full of great support characters and a tender love story a fabulous way to start any new year.
