Non-fiction book for children that offers an introduction to the way our United States Government is designed to work and why. Nice illustrations. The book provides a glossary in the back. Good resource to have in the classroom to introduce our government.
This book would be great later primary or early intermediate. This book is all about the government and how it works.
This book addresses the government, supreme court, and what the government looks like. It also talks about jobs in the government like the president and how to run for a position in the political office. It talks about how the government effects us and what role we play. As well as the steps it takes to make bills and what we can each do to make a different. It is a guide on show more how the government works.
I would use this book in my classroom when teaching about the government and how it works. This is a great way to educate students in a way that is not political. It also breaks down very very complex topics into a way that interests students and helps them understand something that is very important. show less
