Ok so be prepared for lots of feeling within this book but it is all worth it, I loved how Row and Seb had a history from when they were younger and luck has her coming to work for him not only giving them a chance and for her to finally put roots down, but also helping his children find their new normal especially Seren who lets everyone know she isn't happy.
Not going to lie out of everyone Pappy is my hero with not only how he helped Row without others knowing and how he is such an show more advocate for her still years later with one of my favourite scenes is when he tells Seb what he did to her father that had me wanting to high 5 him. show less

It's a complex relationship between Savvy & Grey which you knew would come to ahead as the attraction was off the charts whether they admit it or not, but there is a lot to unpacking they each need to do in regards to their upbringings as well as how they see themselves and the world around them now. They do give you plenty of laughs as well as steamy scenes and some heartbreak and more, while also making you want to wring their necks at times and never looking at a storm the same lol.

How I loved to see Dex get rattled by Lainey, he is always cool, calm collect and in control when dealing with people but he has met his match with Lainey. Then your heart breaks for Lainey as you know she has a past that haunts her and as much as she has moved forward the times it rushes back and makes her withdraw makes you want to pick her up and give her the biggest hug. I really liked how the story unfolded and you got to see them get close to each other but be wary of whats happening, show more and those gorgeous wee kids they just melt your heart! You go through laughter, sadness, shock, love while turning the page needing to know if Dex and Lainey are really meant to be together. show less

Emory is amazing she has been so strong all her life and been the provider and protector as much as she can for her three sisters when one douche canoe tries to ruin everything for her but thanks to her mentor and almost father figure things area bout to change. Preston is just wow he is hiding a secret from his family for all the right reasons but it still guts you thankfully he has Emory on hand and due to his amazingly crazy family they go down the rabbit hole of a pretend relationship show more which turns into so much more. Be prepared for tears, laughter, eye rolls, heartbreak and an underlying story that has you turning the page and nibbling your lip needing to know how things will all pan out for everyone and if GG really is going to be right again or tragically wrong for once. show less
