- Mark Nelson is a career educator living in a small town in the rain shadow of the Cascade mountains of eastern Washington State. He is married to his best friend and fellow educator and together they have raised three daughters and one semi-retired cat. The Poets of Pevana is his first novel. Succeeding volumes in the story of Pevana will be titled respectively: King's Gambit, Path of the Poet King, and Pevanese Mosaic.
