Have tissues handy on the four days it will take to read this PG paranormal supernatural fantasy epic set in the realm of Lozaria where Sarcon continues his plans. This is the second book in the series and vastly superior in craft with well-fleshed characters as well as lavish battle scenes. Fear not, there is a MOST helpful synopsis of Book One at the end, so, unless you LOVE battle scenes which Book One has a superfluity of, you can catch up in a short space of time. Allow three days for this paranormal battle saga. Not going to lie: the first third is a painful slog unless you REALLY like battle scenes. Blessedly. some actual characters appear at about 36% and these 22-year-olds do a great job. Poor editing, confined to that painful first third, brings the rating down to 4 1/2 stars.
