Kat Singleton

This was my first Kat Singleton and I was immediately drawn into this story. I really had a blast seeing how this book evolved. The vibes of this book felt very Meghan March/Katy Evans type. I was immediately captivated by the fun bantering between these two. And the setup was so fascinating. The whole hero has been in love but had a jerk of a brother he had to let have the girl he loved ...was dreamy. And the ways that he goes about fighting for her when it matters just melted my heart. Now show more while this book wasn't perfect, it had a fabulous turnaround. The heroine could be SO stubborn at times though. But I will say the STEAM/SPICE in this book was a bit too much. I mean we have a sex scene that is like 7 CHAPTERS long. There was no need for it to be this long unless it was written to be closer to erotic romance. But it just felt like too much when I was expecting a regular contemporary romance. I can see why this book is so well-loved though. OMG as soon as I started reading this book, I was hooked. That first moment when a young Mare climbed into Cade's bed with her wet socks, my heart was warmed. I just knew that I was going to have my heart broken but mended to have it overfilling with joy. Finishing this book, I can testify that yep, I was not wrong.

Every moment Cade and Mare shared just brought me closer and closer to them emotionally. Not to be left out is Cade's sister, Pippa. I love her. She helped bring lighthearted show more humor to the story.

This last passage sums up this Cade and Mare perfectly:

Ok, Kat you convinced me that blonde male leads can be very desirable. My new favorite name for a man is also Beck. I loved everything about him from his swagger to the way he desired Margo. The heat between them was enough to keep me warm during this cold, winter day.

The sexual chemistry between Margo and Beck just kept building and building with each scene getting more intense. I can guarantee that I will be having some really good dreams after reading this book. If you are looking for show more your next billionaire, fake marriage romance then you need to pick up a copy of this book.

Kat does it again. She had me spellbound the whole time reading this book. Talk about a must, must read! Love slow burn romances, Kat shows how it is done.

The way that Archer instantly fell for Winnie but used so much restraint. It had my heart aching with all the angst and emotions. When they did share their first kiss. It was kissmatic!

While Archer brought the heat, it was the gentle touches and the way he spoke to Winnie that really had my heart melting.
