This was entertaining if sanitised. I was a teenager in Wales at this time and it was bitter. The film ends with the return to work but the truth is that within 5 years nearly all the Welsh pits were gone and the legacy of poverty is still there. And everyone of the main actors is not Welsh at all - because apparently we don't have any Welsh actors????
I have to single out the actor who was the leader of the London group though - he was excellent.
