Despite its claim to be a book for beginners, this book is written with the full expectation that the reader knows all the photographic basics and has a good to great camera and a range of equipment. So, oddly, this is more like a basic book for a very serious photographer. The book is poorly edited – in particular the order of presentation is terrible – and the writing is awkward.
