Nora D’Amato and Sebastian Rossi find themselves caught up in the whirlwind of an extravagant Italian wedding, pretending to be involved with others to help out their friends. What starts as a simple favor quickly becomes complicated as their undeniable chemistry threatens to unravel their ruse. The humor, banter, and fiery attraction between Nora and Sebastian make this a fun and fast-paced read. The chaotic wedding setting, complete with feuding families and unexpected twists, adds show more layers of drama and tension. Livy Hart skillfully balances the laughs, romance, and spice, delivering a thoroughly entertaining story that kept me hooked from start to finish. A must-read for rom-com lovers! show less
Nora would do anything for her best friend, including pretending to be his girlfriend for a week long wedding extravaganza in the wilds of New York with his very large Italian family. And everything would be fine if it weren't that Sebastian, Nora's new crush, is also at the wedding, also pretending to be a boyfriend for his very dear best friend. While trying to convince both families that their fake relationships are real, Nora and Sebastian also have to try and resist their growing show more attraction. The consequences if they fail could be disastrous.
Fake dating is one of my favourite romance tropes and Hart takes a fun spin with it in this novel. Is it a little contrived that both fake couples immediately reveal that they're fake dating to each other? Yes. Does that diminish the fun? Not really. While I enjoyed all the wedding hijinks, I felt the novel lost a little something in the last third and the big conflict felt pretty telegraphed from the start. That said, if you're looking for a fun read that's on the high end of medium spicy, this one is a decent time. show less

Cassidy Bliss has promised to make it home to California for her sister's wedding. But from the moment a good looking but obnoxious dude stole her parking spot at the airport, the trip hasn't gone well. Next she misses the airport shuttle, said dude's fault, and then the plane is grounded. Much to Cassidy's surprise, the dude, whose name is Luke, offers to share a rental car with her. While the sparks between them fly, their travel woes continue to mount. As they try to get across the show more country, the bigger question becomes whether they'll want to get away from each other at the end of the trip.
It's an enemies to lovers road trip novel, with many a mishap. Hart writes sparkling dialogue and has many hilarious lines in her prose. I had a great time with the book and would recommend it if you're in the mood for something fun (and don't mind some vicarious travel stress). show less

This is a swoony, super-steamy hockey romance. Sadie Rivers, the NHL's first female head coach, is strong, resilient, and impossible not to root for as she fights to turn around the struggling Portland Fury. Watching her navigate sexism, pressure, and leadership challenges made her victories even sweeter. Leo McLaren stole my heart. His broody, injured-hockey-star energy, paired with quiet devotion, had me melting. The forbidden coach-player dynamic created delicious tension, and their show more secret meetings were packed with chemistry and emotional depth. I loved how their relationship pushed them to grow beyond their identities as athletes. With humor, heart, found-family vibes, and plenty of spice, this book made me laugh, blush, and cheer. show less
