THIS IS A ARC REVIEW, and may have spoilers.

If you like gargoyles. If you like daddy doms. If you like long tongues. This book is for you.

This, is one of those books, that I believe people will be talking about for years. One that will be used as the gateway into monster romance.

I am in love with the FMC, she is strong, and likable, from the start. She also has her areas of weakness, which, when us used against her. It felt so real.

As a sex worker, I loved seeing SW shown in a good light. Often, the work, and people in the industry, as seen as villains, used, abused, etc. And seeing it not only shown as a real everyday job, but that those in the book who are SWers ate shown to be stable head strong, good people.

Again, I loved the FMC. Every chapter that was from her pov was just amazing. Not to say the ones from MMC wasn't. Because they were as well.

I couldn't find anything I didn't like about this book. The love story, was well written. The backstory, and main plot of the book, was also well written.

I HIGHLY suggest you check out this one.
5/5 stars.

monster love

I don’t know who I need to thank for someone thinking to write the first nonhuman romance but THANK YOU Jillian you combined my two favorite things and I hated to I see it because it was so amazing it wasn’t just spice….and don’t get me wrong that spice was chefs kiss but I enjoyed the plot too.
Why do these books continue to frustrate me?

I had high expectations for this one because I have come to love those enemies-to-lovers and monster romances. The premise and cover made me excited to read this and yet, I found myself disappointed. The relationship between Hazel and Vlad was intended - Vlad knew exactly who she was and decided the only way to gain Hazel's bar was to go to the source.

So, Vlad had intentions. He knew what he wanted - Hazel's bar and what better way is to taste her show more blood and sleep with her? He didn't care how he got it either. So, the best way was to sleep with her and find a way to gain her bar.

Also, are we running out of male vampire names? Vlad, seriously? We are going with that? I can understand that over the years Vlad has reinvented himself using various names but whatever.

Maybe one day I will revisit this story and maybe my opinion might change. For now, it remains as it is.

Oh my goddess, Jillian does it again. This is a 5/5 star read. I will keep it short, cause otherwise I will spoil it all.

I love the 2 main characters, and how they fall in, out and in love with each other. If you enjoy romance, Witches, vampires, and corporate espionage, this book is for you.

Read it, you won't regret it.

This is a ARC review, thank you to the author for allowing me to read their work, in exchange for a honest review.
