- Uck, didn't work for me.
- Told in out of order "steps". One, Ten, Nine, Two, Seven, Eleven... Some of them are repeated.
- Told in second person. "You are patient and your love, true. You’ve waited before. It is nothing to you now."
- The audiobook narrator has a heavy accent that I struggled with.
There is a reason why "I" want to join a colony of sea-folk. A reason "you" can relate to. A tale as old as time.
The title and a post on Twitter caught my eye but I didn't enjoy.
