Malcolm Butt

Though its veracity is sometimes a bit questionable in light of Lydon's autobiography, it's a pretty entertaining read: the hilarious and occasionally sad story of one man's spectacular self-destruction.

This book reads extremely quickly, going from anecdote to anecdote. There isn't much substance, though there are plenty of unconfirmed (or contested) stories and versions of events. Some things are just out-and-out wrong. This was probably intended as a pop, pocket-type biography, but it suffers from inaccuracies and Butt's failure to cite sources.
