Cute Book, But Not Very Useful
"Pretty Kitty Journal" is a journal for your cat. The pages are mostly lined and feature different sections for you to record various information about your cat. Most of the sections are silly, though - for example, why would I want to record every single visit to the vet in such a cute (and expensive) album? Other useless entries include a medication checklist, an address book, and shopping lists. I'm sorry, but I scribble my shopping lists on scrap paper - I show more don't pay for an album to record them in!
The journal itself is just adorable, with cute sketches, backgrounds, and colors. There's a ribbon affixed to the back cover that you can use to keep the album closed. There are also a few "frames" for small photos. The album's very small in size, about as large as a small paperback book (although it is hardcover). The pages are spiral bound.
The canine version of "Pretty Kitty Journal" is "Good Dog", also by Victoria Roberts and H. D. R. Campbell. The format is identical, but the graphics in "Good Dog" are even better. Unfortunately, they're wasted on a useless book.
Bottom line: there are better animal journals out there, so don't waste your money!

A short but charming collection of photographs of dogs. This book would never win an award but it can bring a smile to the face of the weariest and most cynical.
