I first got this back in the days of vinyl. I played it and played it and loved it. I wore out one track: Minuet in G Major because I was supposed to play it for a recital and was struggling. I never achieved the speed or precision of this recording, but it helped me with understanding the tempo.
Now I have this CD and all the beauty and clarity has returned. My heart soars with joy when I listen to this beautiful collection. I love the playfulness in Musette in D Major and Marche in D Major. show more I love the placidity in Sheep May Safely Graze. Mostly I am happy that I can play this again and enjoy it.
If you enjoy Bach and have never heard this recording, I urge you to try it. show less

C+ (Okay).
Cool sounds, but a meh listening experience. I don't find the works selected for this album particularly interesting on their own.

From the early days of electronic music, four soundscapes for the four seasons. Some nice stuff, composed and realized when Wendy was still Walter, and fresh off Switched On Bach, which if memory serves was the first million selling classical album. She also did the music for Kubrick's A Clockwork Orange. This has gotten almost impossible to find.
Quite different than its namesake, less of a curiosity and I guess more like music.
