The Fourth Book of the Chronicle of Fredegar: With its Continuations (Medieval Clasics) by J. M. Wallace-Hadrill

Wallace-Hadril has translated Fredegars work which provide an intriguing look into life in Frankish-Gaul.

The book is of interest as it 'picks up' in 581A.D. and serves as a sort of continuation of Gregory of Tour's "History of the Franks". Ends approx. 641A.D.

An excellent read for those interested in early medieval times.
