As you make your way through this book, you will be learning about one of the most fascinating subjects--your own body. Such a study is not only highly personal, but timely as well. We live in the middle of an information blizzard, and news of some medical advance appears almost daily. This book defines and contrasts anatomy and physiology and discusses how the human body is organized. Then you will review needs and functional processes common to all living organisms.
Best book on anatomy and physiology I came across. Even though it wasn't the book our class was using I decided to return the prescribed textbook and read this one for its clarity and thoroughness.

Ce livre constitue un manuel de cours d'initiation parfaitement adapté pour accompagner l'étudiant dans la découverte de l'anatomie et de la physiologie humaine.
