Low budget knockoff of Double Indemnity has a good enough cast but needs better writers! Beaumont has serious problems. First, he has a faulty cigarette lighter. Second, he has fallen for the evil Ann Savage! Didn't he watch Detour? Obviously, he is doomed from the moment he sets eyes on her. Not the worst waste of your time, but I'm sure you can think of something better to do than watch this. Although seeing Ward Cleaver as a murderer is certainly interesting.
A slapstick comedy in the immigrant/vaudeville genre, Lizzie believes her necklace has been stolen, setting off a series of crazy events when Mr. O'Connor hires the "world's greatest detective," who turns out be Lunatic Louie, an escapee from an insane asylum! (fonte: NCJF)
